Default Brake Caliper questions

I was doing my brake calipers for my 86 4000csq today. I ran into a snag. The bolts that mount the caliper to the strut frame are rusted stuck. I broke a good allen wrench and stripped two bolts. I spent nearly the whole day doing just one. . Is there any general tips for getting those bolts out? I just cant get them out by force. I got one of the stripped ones out by clamping a vice grip around the head. But the bolts one the other caliper are even more stuck on. Hope I dont have to drill them out.

use some good penetrant and spray a few times over the course of 24 hrs. if that doesnt work, find a good torch and carefully heat the bolt and then try to turn it out.

an impact wrench would be a good thing to try if u know someone with one.

Default What Tony said. My favorite penetrating lube is AeroKroil... also..

you should get a allen bit that you can put onto a socket handle...
