Default specifically is 100sqft overkill?

100 sq ft is only 33lbs with the bquiet extreme

thinking of going this path.

I've stfa, and found that you can use less, if you use it in strategic locations. What would be typical of these strategic locations? Where it is just flat bare metal? or where who parts meet?

tia!

Default I used 3 layers of Dynamat Extreme on the door pockets

On flimsy plastic parts its well worth while to put 3 layers on.

Stay away from the brown tile like stuff, use only the black chewing gum on aluminium

Have Fun

Default I think 100sq ft would be overkill in a tt, the car is light as is

you definately don't want to put to much weight on that car and slow it down.
I would just say do the doors and the rear deck.
If that doesn't reduce the noise, try the wheelwell and trunk.
