Default Laser false alerts

Anyone know what could cause false laser alerts on a radar detector? I am using a PNI Traveller II model. I did a search which talked about false alerts sometimes when using the windshield wipers/washer. But, I was not doing that here. I got a series of signals several minutes apart but never saw a cop. Any ideas?

Default Military base nearby? Or the brakelights of a Trailblazer?

I get the same thing in the middle of nowhere between Vegas & Flagstaff. Lazer hits about 5-10 min apart w/ no cops in sight. Very scary.

Default I have had that happen too. Once when driving through

a remote rock canyon. I'm guessing here but I think certain objects reflect sunlight light waves at the laser frequency.
