Since it was a nice day today I decided to clean the back sides of my rims today. While I was rolling tires around I thought I'd run them across the scales and compare the weights which I didn't do when I bought them.
Stock 17" 6 spoke with Bridgestone REO 040 225-45-R17 weight in at 52 lbs. BBS RSII's 18" with Michelin Pilot Sports 225-40-ZR18 weight in at 43 lbs. Don't get excited, I just used some bathroom scales that were handy, but the difference should remain the same. Thought someone might find this info usefull. Later, Brad INTT |
