Default Stock 17's vs BBS 18's..........

Since it was a nice day today I decided to clean the back sides of my rims today. While I was rolling tires around I thought I'd run them across the scales and compare the weights which I didn't do when I bought them.

Stock 17" 6 spoke with Bridgestone REO 040
225-45-R17 weight in at 52 lbs.

BBS RSII's 18" with Michelin Pilot Sports
225-40-ZR18 weight in at 43 lbs.

Don't get excited, I just used some bathroom scales that were handy, but the difference should remain the same.

Thought someone might find this info usefull.

Later, Brad INTT

Default The cast wheels weigh in at a hefty 29lbs...The BBS weigh 24lbs.

Just some more info for anyone interested. Those cast wheels are terrribly heavy.
