Much of the talk on the forum is about big mods - pricey "stuff" that we bolt on to our cars (or use to work on them) to make them more powerful, more distinctive, more comfortable, or simply more fun.
Great! But what about the little stuff? I'm consistently amazed at a few inexpensive items that work wonders. You know what I mean - the bottle of mystery goo that simply does what it's supposed to, and that you can't believe cost only $1.97... "I'd pay ten times that for this stuff!", I often find myself thinking. What great items (not necessarily goo) have you found in the under $20 (roughly) category? My favorites: Goo Gone WD-40 California Water Blade 3M Perfect-It Rubbing Compund, Fine Cut Rain-X Last week's results (someone may care), about heated seats: [format: setting/#responses] 1/0 2/3 3/7 4/4 5/2 6/11 11/1 ![]() I learned that: A) Many people are cold B) Many people have less sensitive bums than I do C) If you bother to turn them on, you may as well turn them ON D) Few people actually leave the seats at 6 for long E) Cold is relative, especially in SoCal

given that seat warmers warm both fat and slim asses, alike.
BTW - my wonder find is Zymol - which is only cheap, because I "borrowed" it from Mark... :-) Otherwise - I like the CA duster and water blade, and some goopy-remover I got (don't know the name) and OXO brushes and stem cap covers. I don't like the rain-x interior anti-fog crap, which sucks big time. |

and this qualifies for one of the inexpensive things that make me happy =)
I also think that painting your calipers is a great inexpensive *MOD* to do, it dresses up the TT nicely for not alot of money

(in no particular order)
- Blue magic metal polish cream @ $4.99 (this stuff is great, and thanks again evan for pointing me to it). Great on wheels and tailpipes and more. - TT East Asheville vinyl window decal (free either cuz i did the graphics or Steve is just a sweetheart, i'm not sure which; perhaps a combination of both) - GE silicone adhesive ($1.99 i think) for getting rid of that damned velcro thing under my V1 remote (I hated how it made it stick out too far!) (thanks to Steve for pointing me to this one) - <mush warning> and the TT forum people for making me smile for free. List guaranteed to grow.
