Default I had a '67 VW Camper... Put a stronger motor in >> Loved it

Not much better than being a 19 year old with a MINT VW camper... Installed carpet, real wood paneling, curtains with gold rods... It had roll out side windows with screens.. Ice box and water tank... pop up top.. Oh yeah, the pull down bed was honestly comfortable ; )...

Installed an 8 track player and a cassete (Audiovox power amp was a must : - ) So many speakers I can't recall...

Just great memories.... never let me down.

Geeze I'm old..

Default My top ten list...

1) Renault Twingo (no tachometer & no rev limit...)
2) Dodge Viper (& no viagra?)
3) Pontiac Aztek (ugly as... nah, worse than sin)
4) Porsche 912C (though the 912E was nice...)
5) Anything with the buzzy Saturn engine (bzzz...)
6) VW Thing (cardboard interior?)
7) VW Rabbit Pickup (ouch)
8) 3000GT Spyder (a 2-ton-plus "sporty" car?)
9) BMW Z3 1.9 Bond Blue (Robin's Egg Sparkle Package?)
10) Subaru SVX (Worst waste of a designer award...)

Default Went on a date once with someone who picked me up in her Gremlin. How to say something nice?...

And had a similar experience involving a Vega. But at least she knew, so we spent the time laughing about it. Her drive shaft fell out at a stoplight about a week later...

Default 1983 Monte Carlo - Brown, with a V6 and tan velour

I should know - my friend Steve had one in high school.

My '78 Buick Electra with green velour and a 403c.i. V8 was a much better car.
