Description of work
Resetting service interval display with adjustment buttons for trip recorder and clock - Switch ignition off. - Press trip recorder reset button - 3 - on dash panel insert and at the same time switch on the ignition. - The central display - 2 - (in window for ambient temperature indicator) will show: "SERVICE IN XXXX km" or "SERVICE." - Release button. - Turn the clock adjuster knob - 1 - counter - clockwise or clockwise. This will reset the display "SERVICE IN XXXX km" or "SERVICE." - The display will now read: "SERVICE IN XXXX km." "XXXX" is the new fixed interval of 15,000 km. - Switch ignition off. |

How do you see the service interval on the display?
I have never seen it. |

And, continues to count down until service is obtained. Fortunately, service reminder does not remain on at all times like some vehicles I have owned. BTW, Dealer uses VAG tool to reset service light.
