Yesterday, someone who owns a NM TT (not me, of course) was challenged my an obviously heavily modified Honda Civic. The speed? Approx. 135 mph. The result? Rice Rocket couldn't pass the TT but still held its own.
The anonymous TT driver could only get up to speed "safely" for a short period of time. On a long straightaway, tha TT would probably have taken the rocket. But the rocket held its ground surprisingly well, according to reports. Of course the TT was built to do 135 and I'm sure that the rocket was not. Still, it shows what mods can do for a modest engine such as the Civic's. P.S. My ethernet card has not yet arrived, so I'm on the laptop via AOL. "F" AOL! |
