Default Eibach and Bilstein suspension on 2001 A6 4.2

Just ordered Eibach pro-kit with Bilstein sport shocks for 2001 A6 4.2 with no sport package. Interesting, for both A6 and S6, they recommended the same shocks! I wonder how they compare with the ride quality with sport package on A6, S6 or eibach/koni combination?

I noticed you have the 4.2 with Eibach Springs. Wonder how many inches lower you have for both front and back. What is your final fenders to ground height and with what size tire. I presume you have no problems with tires clearance! I hope I am not asking too many questions.

Default You can go considerably lower with the 4.2 because of the added clearance w/ the fenders

Im at 25.5" from ground to fender all around w/o rubbing. Wheel specs below with my sig pic.

Default Post pics once done as I want the same or the coil-overs.

My main concern is how low will the spring/billstein combo drop the car. I do like my car somewhat lower but Carbonlords is too low for my personal taste. Of course the coil-overs can be adjusted but if you can get the set up right AND buy the H sway bar together for the same amount of money as the coil-over that latter seems a better deal to me.

One of the reason why Carbonlords looks exceptional low because of the tire. He is using 255/45 18. If he use such low clearance without problem of clearance, good for him!
