H7 or H3 for fog lights on 2002 A6

I looked at the fog light today and I saw that the bulb was painted on the tip. I didn't want to pull it out yet but I want to replace it. Since the bulb was painted on the tip, is it an H7? Or is it sstill possible that it is an H3. How do you take the bulb out? Thanks

remove fog light grill per owner's manual. With #2 phillips screwdrive, remove 3 phillips screws. Fog light assembly pulls ouy. Release wiring harness. Release side clamps on fog light housing and seperate. One half has the lens, the other the bulb. It is retained by the bail (wire). Release the bail and you can pull the bulb out by the retaining ring - never touching the glass!
