Default How do you mount a front license plate?

My used S4 came with no front license plate mount.

Are there clips hidden somewhere or do you have to drill into the bumper?

I'm going to try to get away without having a front plate, but I would like to know how I would mount it if I needed to.

Thanks.

Default Start drilling. If you need (sounds like you do) a bracket, you can have my old one...

Default Well if I need to drill I think I will wait until I am forced to.

Default Remove the center piece

in the bumper by pulling down. See if you have holes drilled already. If not, well your going to have to drill if you want a front plate on there.

Default Are you sure it was me? I don't run a front plate.

I bounced around a few ideas, but since I don't go into the city anymore (the hot zone for tickets) I never executed any.

Default No need to drill. Here's what I did for my RS4 bumper:

Use only the top piece:

Bolt the plate onto the plastic bracket:

Then apply lotsa moulding tape and stick it on the bumper.

It's held up for me for about 1/2 a year now.
