Default Avus S8's on...and a word about Alex @ Europrice

The saga of getting these rims finished yesterday. For those that recall, I got 4 of them from Alex a couple of months ago at a great price, but 2 were damaged in shipment. UPS denied the claim so Alex had to pay for the replacements. The key thing here, which I think a lot of vendors/tuners/companies miss in general: communication. Alex let me know at every step what was going on, "wheels left supplier..", "wheels got here today, will ship tomorrow"..."wheels shipped today, here are your tracking numbers", etc. When the situation overall stinks, just communication can go a really long way to give the assurance you'll be taken care of. Anyway - thanks a lot, Alex. If the opportunity presents itself, I'd love to do business with you again.

On with the pictures: F1's 235/40/18 all the way around, along with H&R 10mmm spacers. Space between inside front tire and supsension is a finger width, but some mentioned last night that's normal..so far, i haven't heard/felt any rubbing, so i'll cross my fingers it stays that way.

This was 1 of 3. Next week: paint those calipers, 2-3 weeks: put on the PSS9's sitting in my office :-)

Default For some reason, those don't look like 18s. Maybe it's just your pictures.

Default I think that's the idea. They're meant to look just like the originals. :-p

Default Hmmm. I guess the more I look at your pictures the more they look like 18s by default.

Just comparing them to a picture I took of my car just before I sold it.
