Default The car is heavier in the front and normally has more psi in the front. Why would you put

more air in the rear?

Default Some say putting more in the rear also reduces understeer a little...

when I want to make it a little more fun to drive I'll do 36F 38R or even 38F 40R...it really livens up the car.

Default Yikes. I went up to 38f/r just when loading my car up with stuff to flee Rita and it felt weird...

...the ride was rough and the car seemed more skittish with its handling, like I wasn't getting a full contact patch on the road. I'll stick with 35f/34r (wider 235's and a little lighter S4). Having learned an appreciation for how skittish overinflated tires can feel on the racetrack (back in my "early days" of going to the track when people would jack their tires on their S4 up to 40-42psi cold), I'm real sensitive to that feeling of overinflation now.
