since i didnt have ideas where to mount my stage III ballasts, thought i would share what i did.

(that zip tie will be gone very shortly)

i am really worried about heat and water, but i really dont see any other options right now.

the heat shield becomes very hot and it is not good for your ballast or your intake. I had the same problem and mounted it underneath the plastic near the bumper. I drilled 2 holes in the plastic and mounted washers and screw. Basically my ballast sits underneath the headlamp.
