Correct Dipstick for 2014 2.0T???
Hello Everyone -
Does anybody (Spijun?) have info about which dipstick to purchase for the 2014 2.0T engine?
I know that many components of this engine have changed since 2013, and I'd hate to get an "older" oil dipstick that is too long or too short for the new engine.
This is the dipstick that has been previously mentioned in the forum: Audi part number 06J115611E
Thanks!

I'm looking for one for my 2014 also.
Now I just looked at the latest ETKA parts listing and obviously they will never list an oil dipstick part number a dipstick doesn't exist for the 2011/12/13/14 2.OT engines.
But there is some caution on buying the dipstick P/N you mention.
The oil filler tube for the 2012/13 engines is 03L-115-607-AA with end plug 03l-115-418A
For 2014 the oil filler tube is 06H-115-610-E, end plug 06H-115-418M.
So both the 2014 oil filler tube and end plug have changed. Does this mean a new dipstick is required? I guess we need to wait until a good parts dealer tries one and determines if it works or not.
My cousin was to buy a dip stick for his 2011 2.0T I will give him a call and see if he has it, if so, I will try it in my 2014.

The 06J115611E "should" work in the 2014
I looked up the 2012, 2103, and 2014 oil filler tubes and they all have the same part number 06H-115-610E. So unless something has changed with the oil level in the sump of the new 2014 2.0T, then the 06J115611E should work just fine. I'm going to buy one and try it out.....

Dip stick reading
I got one as well for my Q5 hybrid, and discovered that the dipstick handle won't allow the engine cover to attach! So it goes.
Is the read area the approx. 1 cm cross-hatch area, and is this 1 qt?

Mostly likely the crosshatch area equates to a quart.

Mine Works Well
All -
I did purchase the dipstick from ECS after Bob P did.
Mine also correlates well with the MMI, though I've only seen the MMI on "Full" and the Dipstick on "Max".
I've left it in the engine, and it fits very well. Driven about 300 miles with it, no problems, no leaks.
The stick arrived with a little "scale" (sort of a crusty, flaky surface?) so I wiped it a few times with a ScotchBrite pad and 409 cleaner (old machinists trick). Polished it nicely.
I'll try to report the correlation when/if my oil level changes.
p.s. I have the "updated" 2014 2.0T gas engine.
