Default Deal is done.....

<center><img src="http://www.bumperplugs.com/images/A8LFront.jpg"></center><p>New A8L is in da house.

Details:

2006 A8L
Arctic White
Sand Beige
Rear A/C
19" Wheels
Front Ventilated Massage Seats
Multi Function Wood/Leather Wheel
AM/FM/Satellite/Nav
Elec Rear Shade
Advanced Keyless Go
Power Trunk Open/Close
Rear Vanity Mirrors
Heated Front/Rear Seats
Parking Assist
Power Door Close

OK, some questions:

The ding-dong noise drives us nuts when we are sitting in the car and need to adjust some settings, but are not ready to drive. Power it up, and ding-dong, ding-dong....damn. Is there a setting to turn that thing off?

Parking Assist is fine, but my local guru is adding a backup cam to pop into the screen, that should be a bumper-saver...anyone else do this yet?

Lot of gadgets/features, takes some time to learn, probably won't use 75% of it, but what a sweet ride.

Thanks for the earlier advice. Took delivery today.

Audi Club? Benefits/etc? Should I? Anyone?

Thanks.

Default Very, very nice! When I first saw this car in white, it did not appeal to me.

Boy, Ive had a conversion!!!!! Drive it well. Yes, I believe that you can eliminate the ding-dong with a Ross-Tech or Vag-Com tool.

Default Besides going that DIY route....

Is this something a dealer can easily set?

We'll be swapping the XM box for Sirius, might ask for that while there too if it's a snap with the diagnostics.

What a beautiful ride! I wanted mine in Pearl white but it is not available. I had a pearl white '87 5000CS Quattro which my A8L replaced. The next best color is what I bought: pearl beige metallic. This was the pre-production model Audi had on display at the 2003 NAIS in Detroit. Your new car in Arctic white sure reminds me of my two 1980 VW SciroccoS's I owned. I have never seen an A8L in white. Yours sure looks sweet. I hope you get many enjoyable, safe miles from it.

I know it's a pain but buckle up immediately even if just sitting there or VAG COM it out.
