Default Xenon headlights not adjusting --- cleared codes but still getting errors each time

I first did a full scan. Only problem I have is with the bi-xenon headlights (which I expected from my problem for the past 3 months now). Here was the error output:

<B>Address 55: Xenon Range
Part No: 4F0 910 357 C
Component: AFS 1 H01 0030
Coding: 0000019
Shop #: WSC 06335

Part No: 8E0 941 329
Component: AFS-Modul links H03 0020

Part No: 8E0 941 329
Component: AFS-Modul rechtsH03 0020

1 Fault Found:
02769 - Headlight Swivel Module; Left
003 - Mechanical Failure - Intermittent</b>

So next I followed the procedure for aligning the xenon headlamps:
<B>
[55 - Xenon Range]
[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 001
[Go!]</B>

And I let it run for like 30 minutes with it running through its cycle and with nothing else coming up ever. Finally I pressed the DONE button and viewed the error codes. I still have the same error codes showing here:

<b>
Control Module Part Number: 4F0 910 357 C
Component and/or Version: AFS 1 H01 0030
Software Coding: 0000019
Work Shop Code: WSC 06335
Additional Info: 8E0941329 AFS-Modul links H03 0020 8E0941329 AFS-Modul rechtsH03 0020
1 Fault Found:
01539 - Headlights Not Adjusted
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation</b>

And it looks like this from the screen shot I took:

-----------------------------------------

<B>NOW</B>, here is what I'm trying to figure out. Everytime I press the CLEAR CODES button, I hear the headlights auto-adjusting no problem. However right after they adjust, the error message shows back up and everything that I try to make it clear out, it just keeps on coming back.

Is there something else that I can try?

Should I be doing something else different?

Does the Basic Settings test take longer than 30 min? And should I have waited longer for it to finish its test?

Does this mean that my headlight auto-leveling mechanism itself is defective and needs to be replaced?

Any ideas would be appreciated. I did a search on here and ross-tech's website and didn't find much more info on this.

Default Here's a pic of the original error light I'm getting (and more info)

<img src="http://www.jdm****.com/TEMP/errorlight.jpg">

It happens at different times. Sometimes when I drive nothing happens and I never see it. Sometimes I'll get out of the driveway and 5 seconds later on the street it comes on. Sometimes I'll get off the freeway after driving anywhere from 5min to 2hrs and it'll come on after a few turns through intersections. And a lot of times I would get it to come on at low speeds, usually manuvering through a store or mall parking lot.

My sensors on the suspension are fine and not bottomed out and have plenty of clearance. I'm lowered in Eibach Sportline springs 1.7" all around, but the light did not start to come on until about a month after I had my suspension done. And if I restart my car, it clears the error light and the adaptive headlights begin to work again.... until I get the error showing back up.

Default Drove around tonight.... problem still not fixed

EDIT: After doing what I said below, I just drove around running some errands. Stopped &amp; started the car no problem. Then as I'm driving home, I pull up to driveway and wait for my garage door to open. As the door opening, while I'm stopped (but still in gear) the error light comes back on and I'm still getting the original error message that I posted in the first post.

Seems like everything I try, short of having the dealership replace the entire housing or leveling mechanisms (which they won't because they don't see it as a problem), there doesn't seem to be a fix for this. I guess I'm SOL.

EDIT #2: Seems like everytime I clear the code, I drive around with the headlights on and no problems until I come to a stop after driving slow. Not at a stoplight, but always places like infront of my garage door, in a mall parking lot, and in a drive thru. Really annoying. I guess my only option is to try and get the dealership to replace the entire driver side headlight housing &amp; leveling mechanism.

--------------------------------------------

I actually found this <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/vag/msgs/6325.phtml">old post here</a>

So I tried the idea of pressing the ON/OFF/Next button and it switched parameters and after I let it run for about 30 seconds, I checked my codes and there were no fault codes. I closed out, restarted the car and tried again and no fault codes still.

Does this mean I have fixed the problem indefinetely? Or is there a possibility that it may still come back? I'll drive around at night for the new couple of days and do a full scan on the car again to see if the original fault code comes back up.

Here's a pic of Basic Settings test I ran:
