Default Finally rolling again...some pics of the progress

Heres just a few pics of what ive been spending most of my time and all of my money on. I dont post very often, usually because i have too many projects on the go, and dialup at home just sucks. anyways, i finally got it rolling on the 18x10 twists in the rear and 18x9's up front. tires are nicely stretched 245/40/18s rear and 225/40/18 up front, it took hours of modifying to get those monsters to fit under the stock flared rear fenders. fronts were simple with just rolling/pulling the fenders and a little tierod arm modification. So all those who told be that it couldnt be done, bite me.. For the coilovers im running 550lb front springs and 600lb rears, the list of new parts goes on forever, urethane motor mounts, urethane tranny and a-arm mounts, aluminium subframe mounts, new bilstiens, new balljoints & tierods, .....etc..im havin alotta fun puttin it all back together. interior is still in progress, cage is tacked together, soon as its welded up i can finish up on putting the interior back together.

As for the AAN motor swap, electrical is done, intercooler, oil cooler and plumbing are done, alternator and pwr steering pump brackets are done, rad and coolant stuff is done, still have alot of cosmetics to tidy up.

Now, the brakes, im running porsche "big blacks" up front with S8 rotors, all new brake hard lines and new stainless braided lines. In the rear i went with wilwood 4-piston calipers and S8 11" rear rotors. I also removed the stock one and instaled a wilwood porportioning valve in the center console for rear brake bias.

Ill have some more pics up soon, these are just from the weekend, by next weekend ill have the cage done, interior back together and hopefully the motor will be ready for cranking, keeping my fingers crossed....

Its gotta be done by burien.

Default I was counting the seconds till someone said that...

but the rolling circumference is identical, just the width difference, i wanted to make sure of that, but thanks for the concern :-)

dial-up.... man, I'm suprised you guys even know what the interweb is way out there. I can't wait to see this thing spin donuts in the dirt and then outrun the pickup.

Default don't think so

40 is the sidewall height. 225/245 is the width. 18 would be the rim inner diameter.

Default yes, slightly, but the rear tire is stretched more.....

the 245 on a 10 and the 225 on the 9, trust me, i put them side-by-side and measured, they are the same
