Default suspension problem. please help

Today I noticed that there was a yellow sign on the dash on the car with two arrows pointing up and down. The car won't give the option to raise it. It is in dynamic mode. What could it be?

The car doesnt really seem to be lower in the front or the back. It seems to be equal in the front and the back

That yellow car light means that the compressor was shutoff so it won't overheat. My guess is that you have a leak somewhere in the system which causes the pump to constantly run.

Do you ever get the green car with the down arrow light? should be right next to the yellow one.

If not your relay/fuse could be bad.

Yea thats the light that used to be on the dash, and then it went to the yellow. I have a feeling it is a leak but im not really sure because all sides are the same.

...then it could be a stuck relay, assuming it did actually stop running.
Check it is not running and overheating due to stuck relay.

when i shut the car off and then back on, it lets me change the suspension. and it goes up and down with no problem. but after i drive it for a little bit, the light comes on and then all suspension options are gone except for the one i am currently on.

Do you have a vag-com? Check what codes you get, like already stated the relay could be bad. Otherwise there is a small leak, small enough that you don't notice your suspension losing air.

so we plugged in the vagcom and it had a few red codes. but they had nothing to do with the suspension. there were no codes for suspension. he tweaked around with it for a little, lowered it about a half an inch while we were at it, and i drove about 100 miles since then and the problem hasn't happened again. i parked up at home, put it in standard, lifted perfectly fine. put it in lift, perfectly fine. put it back to dynamic, everything was good. ill be driving the car later tonight again, i hope the light doesn't come back on. but for now, its all good. doesn't even seem like its a relay or a leak. maybe it was just a malfunction?
