Default hey staley......

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/70072/dsc01158.jpg"></center><p>
I've tried calling and emailing, so maybe I could catch you here? maybe my email got lost in the plethora of daily emails you must receive on questions about cars and your ingenious ideas on mechanics?

hey, upon inspection of my heads, I am not finding any codes stamped on the 'ear'. since I paid for brand new in the box rs4 heads, then "ASJ" or "AZR" would be stamped on it, would you happen to know why mine are missing? from the pic, it almost looks like it has been grinded and polished over, would you happen to know why and how come?

also, my engine that you built seems to be drinking a ton of oil since I've had it back. in fact, I have to put, on average, a quart in about every one thousand miles. it's really making me nervous since I am not seeing any blow by in the lower IC hoses, nor am I seeing any smoke coming out the exhaust.

just wondering if you have any ideas on why this might be occurring? after all, you're the one that built this motor and being the mastermind behind it all, I would think that you would know before I. to be honest, I have zero clue since I never asked for the engine in the first place or I would have an idea on where to start myself.

I figure that you know my car better than anyone, since it sat at your shop for 13 months in a million pieces and just thought I would come here to ask you.

thank you!!!

Scott

OH, also, any word on my missing belly pan and engine covers? I've been inquiring about it for about five months now and have yet to get them back.

I mean, I would've come down to Houston to pick them up, but just about every weekend since I've had the car back has been taken up due to a grocery list of loose ends on my car (like when my brakes failed on the highway due to a poor fab job you did on the brake booster line or the bumper barely hanging on since you couldn't figure out how to reinstall it).

you may or may not remember, cause I know you are a busy man and can lose track of time, the most recent of events, when you welded my one thousand dollar rs4 bipipes on backwards and it took you two more additional months, on top of the 13 months of down time you had my car to fix, so I could have my car up and running again....not to mention, I had to reinstall everything myself, so I must apologize, it has been quite hard getting around town, much less make a four hour drive down from Dallas to Houston.

Default Why do you think you have or bought RS4 heads?

And what documentation do you have that shows you asked ofr and paid for RS4 heads?

Default that's where the trust came in....he told me they were and i gave him my CC for him to

pay for it....i have a CC recipet for 4+k charge and those were for the heads.

mike knows good and well what was said and what he told me in the phone call and he tried covering it up on his recipet to me by calling worked rs4 heads "bar stage III heads"....tell me nick...have you even heard of such a thing? what exactly is a stage III head and what cams does it come with?

i would have one hell of an imagination if i were to make all this **** up.

what took this guy 13 months?

Default Get an attorney and stop these posts already.

I've had my go'rounds with shops in the past and I hate to think that ANYONE was told one thing and was delivered something else. There is nothing worse than some ******* who rips people off, especially someone who you've been told you can trust. that being said, you have to PROVE everything that you're saying. Right or wrong, that's how it works.

The only way to handle this is for you to get an attorney and sue. Mike has basically told you how he's going to handle it.
