Break Pad Sensors w/Vag-com?
I swapped the stock pads for racing pads and have the brake pad sensor lit up on my dash. I bought vag-com to disable it. I was able to find the page for the Golf 5 platform (I assume that is my car's platform since I was able to use the micro-cam interface). According to the instructions on that page I should have been able to turn off the brakepad wear sensor by subtracting 1 from the soft coding changing it from 0049268 to 0048268 but it was a no go. Any suggestions? I've got an 08 TT 3.2

You could just complete the circut, to get the light to go out.
Just cut the sensor off the old pads, leave a a few inches of the cord, strip back an inch tie them together, and plug it in.

instructions from ross-tech.com...
I found the instructions below on ross-tech.com under Golf V platform. They look like they should work but I think they have the wrong code for breakpad wear sensors for my car. When i hit "code" to recode it I get an additional information screen with several codes and it looks like +1 is for something else (I think washer fluid low)so I bet they changed the code for my car. Unfortunately, brakepad wear sensors is not one of the listed codes
Removing Seatbelt Chime
[Select]
[17 - Instruments]
[Recode - 07]
Write down the existing coding for future reference.
Look at the third and fourth digits in the coding (00??x0x). Add the values for the options together and put them in the third and fourth digit location to get the correct coding.
00 - No available equipment
+01 - Brakepad wear sensor warning active
+02 - Seatbelt warning active
+04 - Washer fluid level warning active
+16 - Sedan (Jetta)
So, if your stock Soft Coding is 0023203 and you want to remove the seatbelt chime, put in a new value of 0021203.

Looks like it is not an option on my car :(
It seems likely that no configurations of your car were sold without wear sensors. You may want to install a jumper at the brake pad wear sensor connection since, per the label file, I don't see any Coding options that would allow you to remove the brake pad wear sensor monitoring:
