Default I have seen it before

He has brought it out to Quattrofest and Audi Expo in Burien. The guy has a ton of work into the car, built from a coupe I believe. However I don't think it is quattro, still fwd.

Default HJ: How(or did you at all?) did you persuade Tobias to send you those SQ wheels?

many of us tried to get him to send some R/S2 pieces over but he refused to deal with "Americans" due to a deal gone sour awhile back. Just curious if you bought these directly from him or PO of your car?
TIA

Default Directly from Tobias. Very early on.

He would probably send me something.

Default I see - thanks.

last time I spoke to him, couple or so years ago, and asked me why he wouldn't send anything here he said he had a deal go sour and that was it. He does have a very nice collection of parts, but oh well.

Default Are you kidding?

The rear suspension in that photo is independent unless someone edited out the panhard bar/solid axle.

You sure you're thinking of the same car?

Default Could this have been the 1 that was built from a CGT & a 4kq?

I remeber a post a while back of 1 like that in the PacNW, & after looking @ this 1 the door seems a bit short.
