It's mine....but I'd have to be pursuaded

I love the car. I'm building a large carriage house this spring to store all of my toys in (don't worry, they are garaged now, too), but therein lies the problem. Money is ALWAYS an issue.
It obviously does not have much book value, but is super solid and might be the nicest in the country. An acquaintance of mine has a late '70s wagon with lower miles and more original (I recall that he paid $7000 three or four months ago), but I much prefer the styling of mine.
The only reason I would consider selling is that I have two other vehicles that I could NEVER sell. I love the Fox, but I haven't had it nearly as long as the others, so for that reason only I am less attached to it.
Its' value is in its' rarity. If you could find one to restore, it would likely take a tremendous amount of work and money, and still have many more miles on it. If you are sincerely interested and are willing to pay what most others would say is far too much, get in touch.

Re: Who has an Audi Fox 2 door with 4 speed they want to sell.
I have a '76 Audi Fox, silver, strong 1.6L, fuel-injected, with the normal cold-start sluggishness. It has the 4 speed, all gauges, AC, aluminum wheels plus spare. I no longer have the time to keep the car maintained, and would like to see it go to a good home...
