I am about to have Xpel paint protectant film applied to the key part of my newly purchased 2012 Audi Q7 S line. Xpel site lists two different bumper cut outs for my Q7, one with fender flares and one without. That implies that there is an Audi stock version of the Q7 that has fender flares. I have never seen this option listed so I wanted to ask here if anyone knows about this option.

There is the 21" fender flare pieces and also a add on flare that I have seen in the Audi option book. Never seen one on the road with the option one.

it is part of the offroad package. they can be painted body color if you like to resemble the v12:
