If your chift boot is old and ugly and you think that $100 is a bit much...

Here is what I did.... NO sowing !

1) take your old boot off
2) go to a fabric store with your old boot and pick a color of Alcantara and measure out the amount that you need

I paid $2 for anough material for make about 5 boots.

3) pick up "iron on stichery" it's a very thin heat activated glue and it's very strong, comes on a roll like scotch tape !

I paid $2 "iron on stichery" enough to make 100 boots !

4) cut one stich on your old boot to be able to lay it flat (approximatly flat is good enough)

5) lay it on the new material and trace the old boot.

6) cut out the the trace....make sure you leave anough material for the iron on tape on the join ends

7) put it together with the inside out, iron it, flip it right side out

8) install it

This is the result, it's actually compleatly black but it's not coming out well in picture, it looks better in person.
