Default 2006 audi a4 2t engine vibrating at idle

Is there a fix for this engine vibration? The car shakes like a diesel truck. No codes.

I read through some post and it seems to occur on automatics only.

It could be a crank case valve by the valvecover, let the car idle and try to take oil cap off if u cant take it off the valve is bad let me if that helps

I think I know exactly what you are talking about. I had a 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro for three years that always had vibrations when stopped at a light. Never an engine code like you said. I also read up on this and found it to be pretty common, so I just lived with it and got used to it. Just sit back and enjoy your gentle massage .

I now have a 2011 Tiguan with a 2.0T 4Motion and it is the complete opposite. No vibrations at all...so far any ways .

The oil cap opened fine. Past week, I read a lot and cam follower issue with B7 2t engines scared me. I’m parking the car till it warms up then taking a look at the cam follower. Have lost my loyalty to Audi for not recalling B7 2t engines.

Good, I didn’t sell the B5, still runs like a tank.

Thanks guys, Old Dog and Dan B.

I heard of sub mount like APR or ECS tuning this may help your audi a 4 from shaking.....
