Default What is up with the slow responce

For the past few weeks I have noticed that the forum is slow to respond. Loading the User page or switching between forums is all slow.

I'm still experiencing slow "response" as well, but my spell checker works fine

I have been hammering on the tech guys.. hopefully they can figure out what the problem is before I go crazy and fly to wherever the servers live, and start smashing things..

Which platform is the forum running on?

Windows
Linux
Something else

Is this system a dedicated system or a VM?

I think Linux, and I'm sure it's not the only thing on the box.. It could be that we're on old hardware too...

If this is linux you have access to the command line you could run the following commands to see what hardware you have available:

lshw -short
This command report exact memory configuration, firmware version, main board configuration, CPU version and speed, cache configuration, bus speed, etc.

lscpu
This command is used to display information on CPU architecture

I don't have command line access to the forum box, only the content and gallery machines (which are all different boxes.. )

Kris,
I have noticed that the site is significantly faster than it's been for a few weeks. Thanks to the people who worked to speed things up.
