Airbag light reset/clear

Re: Airbag light reset/clear
If the light is on constantly on them there is a problem with the airbag system. You could try to clear the code, but you will need a VAG-COM in order clear it.
Normally if the light stays on for about two minutes, then there is a stored DTC code for the air bag which can be cleared by VAG-COM, but if it is on constantly on then the clockspring could be broken.
Make sure you're sitting down when they quote you the cost of a clockspring at the dealership $$$
Did your battery died?
Did you play around with the steering wheel?
Did you turn the ignition on with the air bag disconnected?
