Convert Onstar into Bluetooth?

Convert Onstar into Bluetooth?
I have Onstar in my 2004 S4, but have no use for it. I was wondering if I could utilize the Onstar system's wiring and hardware to install a bluetooth system.
Is this possible, or will I just have to install a bluetooth system separately and have the Onstar panel taking up space.
Thanks

With Multifunction steering wheel it works even without navigation
I have done it with navigation plus but without steering wheel. At least I have a use for the OEM microphne now ;-)
Here's another upgrade story:<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/337914.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/337914.phtml</a</li></ul>

Thanks. That looks like a very cool setup! I wonder if I could answer calls using the onstar button on my steering wheel.
Anyways, I dont have navigation but this will make me re-think it.

You don't have an OnStar button on your wheel, do you?
You should have a answer/end call button with a phone symbol on the wheel and the three OnStar button near the interior lights. Those three will be useless but the phone button should still work.

No Onstar button, but the answer/end call button like you described (sorry- Ive owned my S4 for all of 3 days now!!!).
This sounds great! Ill pick up the Audi bluetooth kit and try to make it all work. Thanks again

So let me get this straight. You don't need Nav or the MFSW. If all I want to do is anser incoming calls I can get the control module that replaces the onstar module and use my steering wheel phone button and I'll be all set?
