Default 2003 Allroad Manual Shifter Options

Hi guys,

So my 2003 Allroad 6 speed shifter broke. The little plastic piece that is underneath the boot that the hoseclamp grips around metal shaft connecting to the link broke off my shifter. So I'm in need of a new shifter.

Rather than go to a junk yard and source an OEM one I was thinking about upgrading to a RS4 shifter, or a air leather shifter to make the interior nicer. Found a newer RS4 but it doesn't match the B5 2001-2005 model year, and it was upwards of $300.

Any suggestions of what I should get to make it look a little sweeter and sexier. I'm going for the S4 RS4 seeing how I've tuned her up to close to the S4 spec.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks Ricam,

First off, I'm a huge fan of the work you've done to your Allroad. I'm actually In the middle of painting my Brembo's (that I got off an 05' Toureg) the same Black with the decal. What pads did you end up going with for these?

That shifter looks really clean and classy. I like that it matches the wood trim. Where did you find it?

Also curious about your Nav... is that a newer model than stock?

Thanks for the advice! So appreciated.

Replying from cell, so will be quick

pads I went with EBC reds and am now going to Carbotech Bobcats. Do you know which rotors to get and where to get the caliper decals....by the way great color choice

Third shift **** info and pics vs stock allroad trim can be seen here. I got it from eBay.UK I think originally

Nav is a new LED RNSE from zawa. Excellent system that you can actually get to work with the new Audi AMI technology. It is great in this car because it is OEM and looks and works as if it was developed and sold with the car....except it is modern technology. PM or email me and I can fill you in on any specific questions you may have!
