Default Newbie 2.8Q in DC area.

Just got a 99 A4 2.8 Quattro sedan a week ago and wanted to say "hi" to everyone. I've been lurking around and trying to get up to speed on all that's happening in this forum. That can be full time job with the amount of traffic here!

So far I haven't seen anyone else with the same exterior color. Mine is dark gray metallic. Dealer called it charcoal and/or ebony pearl. Anyone else got that color or is it rare for some reason?

So far my mods are:
1) Dual 10" sub spliced to the line level wires thanx to the amp connector diagram in the tech section. Works great!
2) A second rear fog light. Real easy mod...
3) Dealer temp license plates

Gonna do the Nokia phone adapter integration mod next. Performance and handling upgrades are gonna have to wait 'til spring probably.

No sig yet.

Default That's kinda the idea...

although this is my daily driver, so no extreme stuff.
So far I plan to:
1) Integrate a Nokia phone into the build-in hands free system.
2) Add 1 piece projector headlights.
3) Add lower fog lights (since the projectors don't have any build in).
4) Sport springs. Nothing extreme- 1 to 1.5" drop max - must still be drivable on DC streets.
5) Clear (smoked?) side marker lights.
6) GIAC chip. Maybe. Don't wanna screw up the warranty.
7) Exhaust. Springtime maybe.
Other stuff as time and money allows.
