Silly question? Tires in trunk?
I just wanted to confirm whether or not a set of tires will fit in the trunk?
What if the seats are folded down - and could that sort of weight (or even more) sit on the back of the seats?

I just took my set of 19" rims and winter tires to be exchanged at Discount tire for the 20" rims I run for summer. The rear seats had to be folded down of course.

I was changing the tires on my Ford F250 tow vehicle and needed to get the wheels and tire to the shop for mounting.
I folded the rr. seats down and fit a total of four 33" tires (2 mounted and 2 unmounted LT285/75R16) in the Q5.
Each of the tires weighed 52 lbs and each rim weighed 23 lbs for a total of 250 lbs.
