What kind of deals is everyone getting?
Hey everyone,
I currently own a 2010 A5 cabrio and was looking at purchasing a 2012/2013 A6 and was wondering what kind of deals everyone is getting. I live in Jacksonville Florida, so the only dealer around me has a very low inventory. I was thinking about heading to Orlando, Tampa or Miami to get a better deal/selection.
I particularly want a Prestige with the 20" sport package, LEDs and side assist and was thinking $1,000 over invoice would be more than fair. Has anyone been scoring any better deals?
Thanks!
Bob

That's what I was offered in Phoenix. I'm not sure if it is negotiable or if the other dealers would offer a better price.

It looks like your getting pretty much the same as me. I got (Invoice - $300) last November. I also got $2000 conquest cast, which is not a lowering of the price, but Audi Corp helping with the down payment.

I got mine for invoice -$200.
Though to be fair, I cheated. We got a Friends and Family code from someone we know who works for Volkswagen, which granted us a price of invoice + $300 minus whatever dealer cash we could negotiate. I probably could have gotten even more off, but haggling over a few hundred dollars wasn't worth my time.

Things in the Midwest (or maybe just Ohio?) seem to be a bit pricier. I have a connection who knows the owner of the dealership, and I still paid over invoice for an ordered 2013 -- paid less than $1k over invoice, but certainly didn't get the deal that many here are talking about (under invoice). Maybe my "connection" isn't as useful as I thought? :-) Generally speaking, though, I'm ok with a price that's close to invoice.

On everyone getting these deals, are you trading in cars? If so, how much are you getting. I got a so-so deal on my C7 but got more for my trade (BMW) then I thought I could get out of them. I always look at net, so if they give me a car for invoice but a bad trad-in value, then I'm not feeling so good.
