Default 2001 Audi TT Quattro 225hp - Turbo Not Boosting Over 12lbs!

Bought in Arizona and drove to Houston. In Arizona it was boosting 20 plus lbs and some where between Arizona and Houston the boost dropped. I just noticed it when I was in the Houston area. Not sure what is wrong, any suggetions. The Audi TT has an aftermarket boost gauge to the left of the steering wheel where the A/C vent is located. If you have experience with turbos and boost pressure please respond. Thanks.

http://www.star-trend.com</a

I have an APR Chip that is tuned for 93 Octane, Stage 1 Clutch / Flywheel Kit / Turbo Boost Gauge. It is loosing boost in all gears, I was told to try 60mph in sixth gear and see what my boost is at. Going to to this tomorrow. Do you know if the boost is due to climate or elevation change what would fix the boost?

Default No Need to do a 6th gear pull...

Get a boost gauge, VagCom, and a Modshack Boost Machine.

I was APR for years and ran without a Boost Machine for a very short period of time. After the boost machine I was able to find my faulty problems and normalize the boost.

Default if you hold the car at a given mph, you'll see boost drop

start at 2k in 4th gear and floor it. watch what gauge sits at then.

I'm getting about 18-20lbs boost now after disconnecting the battery. I was told that I may have the stock setting for boost and the ARP 93 Octance setting. Would you know how to make sure that I'm on the ARP 93 Octane setting?

There are instructions on the apr site, it's all done through your cruise control stalk

http://www.goapr.com/Audi/support/dpp_emcs_instructions.pdf</a
