Default I installed some "modern" style door handles.

Hopefully this will end the never ending breaking handles. I really like the feel/look of these. I'm impressed, not bad for $38.

They took some modding, but nothing major. I had to shave the front linkage down (width wise) and for the rears, just slipped the old linkage in the new place, a little grinding to fit.

Next I'm thinking of painting them to match the body. Anyone have pics of any quats with no side mouldings, or painted ones?

Thanks

Default Yep, nice. I tested fitted those before Burien last yr, but uninstalled them due to

the way the rear mounts pivotted inside the door.
Hopefully you got a slighty different design.

But damn, don't they feel nice when you open them.
(Also the other concern was my daughter pulling on them oddly & damaging the door/paint, but you don't have to worry about yours opening doors for a few more yrs.)

You still got my email from a few days ago? Get on MSN sometime also.

You coming to Burien this yr?

Audi Expo 2006 - June 24th

They have a little spring on the rear hinge and a rubber gasket. Paint would be fine.
