Default Looking for rims for winter

I'm looking for a set of rims for winter tires. If anyone has a set of 19" OEM rims they're thinking about selling, please PM me. I can pick them up anywhere in the NYC metro area, or we could discuss shipping.

I plan on ordering from these guys in the next few weeks:
http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/

They are replicas, but supposedly of decent quality.

none of the 19s on that site specifically say they'll fit the S6. Have they confirmed they'll clear the front brakes?

That's the big question. Most sellers just go by standard wheel measurements. I believe only Tire Rack actually test fits each wheel.

This was my concern with oemwheelsplus.com also. I don't want to order rims, tires, get them mounted an balanced, then find out that I need to order and wait for spacers after all that. They do look nice.

If anyone can verify the fit I may go that way too.

Have you checked out Hartmann wheels? They have some nice wheels, quality is very good, and if you call they can generally give you specifics on fitment for various models.

Are the S6 calipers much larger than the standard A6 calipers (which are quite large)?

Yes, they're huge monoblock calipers sitting on top of 15.7" rotors. The smallest wheel that will fit is 19" and only those with certain offsets.

I just ordered a set of the RS7 19" reps ($719/shipped) from OEM Wheels Plus.

http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/index.p...heels-set.html

They are ET +35, just like the stock S6 19s, so should fit without and problems. However, I will do a test fitment as soon as I get them and report back.

Another vote for Hartmann wheels...they list which ones will fit on the C7 S6 on their website. I bought Hartmann replicas from Achtuning for my previous S4 and you can ship your Tirerack order to them and they will mount them on the wheels for you. The Hartmann's are not cheap but the quality is probably better them most of the other Audi replicas I have seen. The downside is that they don't have many styles in 19 that will fit the S6.

I need to order wheels soon for my winter setup so I will be interested to hear how these other replicas fit since the Hartmann selection for the S6 is more limited. I also don't care for the Audi stock 19's either so that option is out.

Did you talk to someone there about fitment on the C7 S6? I see they list the C7 A6 and A7 but not the S6 or S7. Are they sending you spacers also? I just got my snow tires yesterday so am looking for some 19" wheels too. Thanks for being a guinea pig.
