Hi everyone need some help.

I had to do a slight repair on my fender the other day and when I drove the car forward I didn't realize that part of my wiring was under the car, any way damaged some of the wires.

I fixed everything and put it all back together but I have an error on my dash for my dynamic headlights. I know that it is fixed properly. I do not have a VAG, is there any other way to reset the computer or do I need a VAG.

Is the error still there because I have done something wrong or does it need to be reset, Can I unplug the battery to reset?

You can pull the battery ground and it 'might' clear the error you're seeing in the guage cluster. The code will still be stored in the ECU but you shouldn't have to look at the warning light anymore.

When my wires were ripped out there was 3 brown wires kind of squashed together and a separate earth which I assumed went to the 3 brown wires and also 1 wire that came from my side flasher and went to a black and red wire which I have no idea where it goes, everything is working fine though, so what I am asking is if anyone has a wiring diagram for the left front headlight in to the drivers side kick panel all I need is to see whether the earths are correct and also if where the side flashers goes. it's the positive for the flasher going to 2 other wires.

I have access to a friends VAG on the weekend to check and clear my ECU for the dynamic dimmer

I don't know if this was confusing hope not.
