the gas station yesterday on a side road - he slowed down to a stop and stuck his head out the window and told me that with a big smile. I didn't hear him right at first and signaled to repeat and sure enough that's what he said. I thought that was pretty cool

That's cool. I get someone almost weekly asking at gas station, or parking lot.

Had some kid say, "dude, that's tight" one time. Another guy stopped me Saturday morning asking what I was driving and how much they cost.

You just don't get that with a Cavalier.

Told him it was a Q5, but heavily modified.

Just gave him a range, saying base models $34K all the way up to fully decked out Sport model at around $65K.

You're in NC. By mid-summer 2014 that lawn will be all crabgrass. I heard people in NC just call it grass though just playin... nice patio and retaining wall btw. i really love looking at landscape architecture.
