O2 Sensor Replacement - B2S1 on 3.0L
I got a P0050 OBDII code:
H02S - Bank 2 Sensor 1 Heater Circuit.
From the forums I've discovered:
-how to check the heater
-this is the driver side front sensor
-the driverside front sensor is difficult to replace
I'm asking a few things to anyone who has experience with this or knows:
1- where is the connector for this sensor so I can test it(where in the engine compartment)?
2-where is the sensor installed
3-how would one replace it
4-is this worth going to the dealer/shop for?
thanks for any help you can provide!
Cheers,
Doug

Re: O2 Sensor Replacement - B2S1 on 3.0L
Really? It's not unlikely that I'm mistaken. I was going by the tech article "understanding oxygen sensors" the 10th one down here: https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng.html
That was for B5 chasis; i assumed it was correct and didn't change.
Anyone know for sure?

Re: O2 Sensor Replacement - B2S1 on 3.0L
I did some checking: "Bank 1" is the cylinder head that starts with cylinder #1 as in 1-2-3 (passenger side) "Bank 2" is 4-5-6 (drivers side). So you are correct.

Re:[update] O2 Sensor Replacement - B2S1 on 3.0L
So the shop estimates 3.7hrs of work to replace the driver side upstream oxygen sensor. Anyone know how far tucked away this thing is?

Bosch sensor:$173
3.7 hours labour:$303

Unbolt the coolant res and rotate it out of the way...
I've got a good look at the passenger-side one before and I think that one is easier. I'm guessing it would only take about 5 minutes to figure out if are going to be able to reach down there easily or not.
