If you go over to Audizine there are a ton of posts from people who have gone the custom wheel route and many seem to be in the 20"x10" area. Granted, they are going for show, not go so they can get silly but it is a source of good info for what you are looking for I think. One other number you will want to pay attention to is the offset. Otherwise, you could get a wheel setup that is either protruding beyond the wheel well or is sucked in too far and in either case will look goofy.

Personally, I am looking at 20x10's with either 265 or 275 width rubber. Aspect ratio proportionate to keep the rolling diameter as close to stock as possible (i.e., not much sidewall). Will lower the car as well, probably going with the Stasis setup of springs and rear anti-roll bar... , you will also need to adjust the camber to accommodate the lowering if you are going that route.

If you like the Titanium look, the Hartmann replica 20's are 20x10 ET 29 and they recommend 265-30-20 tires. I have these on my S5 and the performance is excellent, and doesn't look bad. Some teenager remarked that they looked "sick," which I guess is a positive comment. I use the Michelin PSS tires with them. They have stock hubs.

Can you post a shot of the side view of entire car without wheel turned? I found a great deal on 20X9 rims (doesnt list offset) would like to see how far your stick out. Also, do you know the offset of your rims?

So, I have been busy since I posted this. I want to give thanks to the two shops who were really helpful. TAG Motorsports in Vista california gave me the time on the phone to tell me the optimum setup for the A5 (what they typically set up on the custom rides). Really friendly, and helpful.

I had purchased a set of rims earlier from Ebay, without doing my homework on offset. I gave TAG my dimensions of the rims and they told me the rims would fit like OEM. That is not the look I am going for. TAG new I wasnt giving them my immediate business, but helped anyways. (Friday afternoon). Thanks TAG!

Next, the company on Ebay that I purchased the rims from Need4Speed Motorsports in LA, I called them and explained that I purchased the wrong rim offset/size (again, on a Friday afternoon). Golan at N4S was extremely helpful and cancelled my Ebay purchase. (They were listed for $890 OBO, I offered $791 and they had accepted).

They validated the new fitment that TAGM suggested, and DIDNT CHARGE ME A DIFFERENCE IN PRICE!!

Its really nice when you deal with companies who are professional and not out to just rip you off. So, to make a long story long.. Here are the specs:

TAG MOTORSPORTS RECOMMENDATION:
A5 20"x10.5" with 35MM OFFSET

NEED4SPEED MOTORSPORTS REVISED ORDER:
A5 20"x10.5" with 30MM OFFSET (Rim doesnt come in 35MM)

MY ORIGINAL EBAY PURCHASE
20"x9" with 25MM OFFSET (FITS LIKE OEM WIDTH)

Again, thanks a TON GOLAN AT N4S!

Please give them your business if you are in the market for rims!

Here is a shot of the rims I ordered

Blaque Diamond has a variety of 20" wheels. Here is a photo shoot we did on a 2013 Audi A5.

The wheels are 20" BD-4's. The fronts are 20"x8.5" the rears are 20"x10"

Let me know if you have any questions regarding fitment, pricing, custom ordering, etc. We can customize these to your liking.

those are solid replicas, they look identical to my factory ones. I would not have guessed they were copies had you not posted that, probably way cheaper than what I paid from factory too.

Default 20x10 et25 with 295/30R20 square all around

Hello, I have a 2014 A5 Cabriolet Quattro original wheels with
ALY58912 Audi A5, S5 Wheel Silver Painted #8T0601025CA8Z8 size: 18"x8.5 et29 with 245/40/18.
I replaced with (TSW Bathurst silver #2010BAT255112S72 size: 20"x10" et25) square - all around with 295/30R20. Fitment and stance perfect no spacer/ no suspension mods. Tires & wheels approximately flush with finders, about 8mm under from flush on rear and perfect even on front. You could still add 8mm spacers on rear to be flush on rear. Definitely would not go any wider than 20x10 et 25 with 295/30R20 if you are going square all around and without suspension mods and because you have a Quattro transmission requirements and need to be square diameters on wheel/tire around vehicle. Hope my experience with fitting my A5 helps some folks out there!
