Thanks. The picture does not really do justice to the rims. Plus I will probably get some matte black dust shields to combat the famous Audi brake dust. That should also make the wheel's design stand out more by hiding the disks.

Default You're hiding the brakes? There is a lot of spacing between spokes in your wheels.

It's going to look odd with that much "black" between the spokes etc.

IMHO-

That's why I haven't done it already; not sure how it will look.

Default Nice car, but chrome wheels don't belong on Audis, IMHO.

And maybe it's just the camera angle, but OMGHI2WHEELGAP!!!

It is the camera angle (driveway slopes down to street). And the air suspension was not on the lowest setting.

Also, I see plenty of chrome wheels on Mercs, BMWs, Porsches, Ferraris, Bentley's. etc... So why do you think Audi is any different?

You obviously live somewhere other than the western U.S.

Default for those to look good, you might need to drop the car a bit.

saw those exact same wheels on a 350z yesterday.

Those other brands tend to scream "look at me," while Audi is more subtle and understated. It has nothing to do with where I live; I see plenty of Mercs and Porsches that look great with chrome wheels. But there's a reason why Audi doesn't offer them on their cars.
