Default ETKA diagram help: location(s) of G2 and G62 coolant temp sensors?

I've got a barely noticeable rough idle, and my temp gauge is moving almost as fast as my tach (not that bad), and I'd like to replace before my road trip down to the Outer Banks next month.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Default What's the page number?

The sender for the gauge, assuming it's like the A6/older 2.7, is $7 and takes 2 minutes to change (with limited spillage).
Why replace both? Vag the other one to see how it performs...get to it!

I dunno...and I don't have a VAG. This is from the first scan that Rog did pre-purchase.

Default The temp sensor for the temp gauge is on the back of the passenger side of the engine

on the hard coolant line that connects the heads (basically right below the accordion hose). The one that the computer uses is down near the lower radiator hose.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, ASSUME THAT YOUR THERMOSTAT IS BAD. I'm just sayin...

BTDT...don't want to be that stupid again.
