Wasn't sure if pics would work. It seems more chestnut based like Andorra red.

That isn't a stock color... one off special order or repaint... first more likely.

Default Yes, it isn't in any of my old order guides, so it is custom. I just don't know if

it's a standard colour for some Audi in some market, or whether it's truely custom in every sense. In North America we can get any colour from a the standard palatte worldwide for an extra $2500 - and many other interior choices for $900. However, we can't order one-off custom colours like the Europeans.

Default That's Classicrot Perleffect (Classic Red, one of the current Audi exclusive extended palette...

... colors) with what looks to be a Magnoliaweiss Feinnappa interior (also one of the extended palette colors).

Both can be special ordered on an A3. Paint for whatever the 2007 special order paint substitution charge ends up being (it was $2,500.00 for MY 2006), while the interior would be charged at Euro 3,550.00 less 16% VAT/car tax based on the exchange rate on the day the car was received at its U.S. POE.

Excellent! Thank you very much! Looks great on the TT, and could be a stunner A3.

Default I read on the TT board that is the Black Cherry that IS a current color and yours for a mere $2.5K

Or as the germans say Kirschschwarz Perleffekt. At least that is what the gurus on the TT board said about it when these pics were discussed last month. But is does look like Audi Exclusive Classic red leather, so they might have been wrong. I was figuring out the price that combo would cost and it approaches 7-8 thousand dollars with the paint, special order charge, audi exclusive leather packages and whatnot...pricey to say the least but nice too.

Link to previous discussion of these pictures on TT board

Default Damn...THAT is my color...

I've been pining for that color ever since I had it on my brand spankin' new 1978 Saab EMS. Loved that car...love that color.

I think the A3 colors are oh so boring. I have a brillant red A3. NEVER thought I'd have a red car, but the A3 colors are so...well...colorless. I hope this color is still around in 2008 when I get my next A3. Dang, might have to spring for a new 2007.
