Warning Triangle for the Q5
The older A4 that I owned had a warning triangle built into the inside trunk trim. In case of roadside breakdown, you could take it out and put it out to warn oncoming drivers. I notice that Audi sells an accessory one for the Q5. Does that mean that it doesn't come with one standard?

Mine did not. I suggest a search on this forum for the correct one - Audi sells several ... Steve

It got cost reduced out, except for Euro Delivery where you still get it
Mandatory on German roads, so they still give it to you as part of ED. Hence, how I got mine as delivered. Ditto on a safety vest.

I went through this process too. I bought 2 incorrect models based on input from others (too large or didn't fit into the factory slot), eventually finding the correct one with the 3rd coming from ECS. It was like $25 (correction: $33 on Sep 2013).
It snaps into the small narrow hidden panel in the lift gate itself.

Unfortunately, Audi new car included extras from earlier days like the warning triangle, first-aid kit, cargo net and even the oil dipstick have gone the way of the gooney bird in most models - extinction.

I ordered this one
Part # 1Y0093055
Link http://www.ecstuning.com/ES5227/
We'll see how well it fits, I should know by next week. But supposedly that's the one for the Q5.

Of all the triangle variants I tried (too big), the only one that would fit in the factory clips was:

Looks like they may have increased their pricing because it's now $55.
I end up keeping all the other attempts and threw them in my other cars -- restocking fees and return shipping didn't make sense, so just kept them.
