Default Damn Shame What The Hell Happened/IS HAPPENING at Millenium Audi.

Many of you know the story...GM, gone....Service Managers....Gone....Sales Reps...Gone. Un-fvcking-believeable.

Default I may be going out on a limb here, but I suspect that not making money happened/is happening...

...and this is the fallout.

Default You are not going out on a limb...that was/is def a problem....

a function of horrible inventory consisting of 60K 3.2 A6 Avants on there lot with every imaginable option and giving people WAY to much on there trades. That your dead on about...and hence a GM's head can/should and did role.....they were "in" cars for THOUSANDS more then they were worth.

But the great service manager? There best sales rep? Thats were the line SHOULD be drawn....but it wasnt.

Default Hey - I drove that $60K Avant wagon yesterday. Because it was the only air suspension

A6 outside (had 2 fully loaded A6 4.2s in the lobby). Had 9-10 A6s - much better than the lone A6 we were all lining up to drive back in March. New sales guy for me too - Frank. Old guy went next door to the Infinity place.

Any real advantage to Millenium over Momentum anymore? (I'm in Clear Lake and downtown is a whole lot closer than 1960)

Bob

P.S. Millenium got their first Q7 yesterday, about 1 month early.

Personally, I would go to Momentum.

Default any new dealership takes quite a long time to make money...

seems they were freaking out and changing management right off the bat (this isn't the first fallout). That's just not smart.

Default The little success they did have getting off the ground was based on the few people I mentioned

Louie, Steve, etc....based on this decision making it will get much worse before it gets better and if it stays this route, it wont get better.

Default Wow, definitely makes a case for opening a dealership.

Having that kind of thought process only ensures that the turnover will be high.
