IPhone 5 not going to work with Audi

iPod out is a special feature that AUDI does not use in it's MMI/AMI schema. If Audi Used IPod Out, the screen would display an interface from the iPod itself, and not the MMI look.
Currently Audi reads the database of the iPod Music player and pushes audio out into the MMI.
The adapter WILL work with the Audi MMI/AMI system.

The APPLE adapter has an authentication chip that determines what type of connection it needs based on the source connection. The adapter will then adapt to the type of connection and allow that connection to occur with the 8 "Dynamic" pins in the new lightning adapter.
It also has a DAC (Digital Audio Converter) to convert analog audio to the new digital audio nature of Lightning.
I recommend not getting cheap knockoffs and only go with the official adapter.

My iPhone 5 dose not work
Just got the adapter from apple today my hew iPhone 5 dose not work in my 207 Ausi S8. Reads the play list but shows no songs.
But it dose play my pod cast stuff?? Too wired up right now to think.
