Default Low beams stay on with high beams. FIX for S4 headlights.

This is how S4 headlights should behave. When you add them to a 100 the low beams turn off when you turn on the brights.

Headlight switch connector:
<img src="http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/9808/dsc00233ya9.jpg">

There is a wire in position 8 (green arrow). Take this wire out, you will not need it. Then take the yellow wire from position 7 (aqua arrow) and relocate it to position 8.

If you have stock 100 headlights this should not concern you. It is only for the few of us who have upgraded to urS4 headlights.

Thanks to Brdman* for figuring this out on his 90, the wiring is the same for the C4.

Default Hrmm this also renders the rear fog useless (if it wasn't already)

Brdman, does yours still work? I'll have to take a look at my wiring diagrams...

Default ya, works fine. Used it backing out of a dark driveway the other day.

the wiring diagrams do mention it's for the fogs though.

Default Do you have your fog relay jumpered?

What does pin 1 do? I don't have anything hooked to it and it isn't in my wiring diagrams.

Default The fix is so that they DO act that way...

When you install them in a 100, the lows turn off with the highs without this mod.
