We just got back from a trip also with 2 adults...

We just got back from a trip also with 2 adults and closer to 300 lbs of stuff. From Texas to Louisiana we averaged 25.3 (calculated) with the cruise set on 77 mph.

We only got 23 mpg coming back...

So two weeks after adjusting the steering column, the noise has returned. Not as bad or often this time, but still there.

We are due for the 25K service soon, so I will have them look at it...
