The Q5 3.0T is fast enough at around 6s, and the BMW328 has similar numbers. All goodness, but I agree much more than that may be too...

The A4 motor is a North-South motor. The Q3 motor is installed East-West as in Golf, A3, Tiguan and others. Not the same motor. Only similarity is that it is a 2.0l turbo.

Obviously have not driven a BMW 3-series recently... Even my Q5 outperforms that POS, and the A3 is even better than the Q5.

I will have the DSG gearbox any time over a slush-box or a manual....

I made two loops out of nylon strap and fastened them under the hood - one on each side. They stick out when I need them for the kayaks and I just fold them back when not...

Did hear it once when the radio was off - 2013 3.0T with 19" wheels. Problem is easily rectified by just turning the radio on. The steering noise magically goes away.

Why not get the 2.0 with Quattro and chip that? You will just incur a lot of wheel spin with a front-wheel drive car.
