I believe the factory recommends 95k.....the 2.8 in the A6 is very easy...

Shift Indicator bulb and Outside Temp bulb? ........Questions.....

1) Are they the same bulb? Radio Shack #272-1092 According to FAQs.

2) I find the procedure on the Shift Indicator in FAQs but not on the Outside Temp one. I know I've seen it before.

slid both out together. I removed two of the wiring harness clips to give me more slack. Good thing I removed the under dash panels anyway cause when I dropped the screwdriver in the dash it fell...

PHEW! got it out.....what a knuckle buster.....

would have been nice is Audi had given us another inch of cable harness. Old switch is definitely cracked right on the end.

I do a lot of feeling around in the dark! ;o) It's pretty amazing that I made it....

...to 156k before having to buy a code reader. In summary, we've had ZERO problems with this car! We bought it in 99 with 58k on it. It's a very easy car to love!!
